Every Month I get reports from the various Mission Fields of World Gospel Mission. Reading through them is always interesting and gives me some creative ways to discuss missions with my church. The September report from Japan caught my eye as it shares some great news from the life of Zach Motts, recent contributor to the site, WGM missionary and passionate fan of campmeetings. Here is the report below:
Japan September 2009

Praise
-
•At the first campus Bible study at Rikkyo University for the second semester, there were 13 students present. Several are non-Christians who are interested in learning about the Bible.
- •The 5th Congress on Evangelism in Japan was held September 21-24. Over one hundred representatives attended from the Immanuel Church. It was a good time for leaders from many different groups to discuss the challenges the church faces in Japan.
- •The students of the Immanuel Bible College returned to class from their summer ministry assignments.
- •Over fifty people attended the evangelistic service at the Fukagawa Immanuel Church when Zach Motts spoke. One high school student who is not a believer said that the message had made him think and he thanked Zach for speaking.
